How many appointments will I need?
There are three types of patients:
-
There are people who seek immediate relief of their discomfort and are seen for only 1 or 2 visits.
-
There are people who seek relief of their symptoms and then, are given an exercise program to help strengthen their spine or whatever area of the body being treated.
-
Then there is the third type of patient, who is committed to experiencing a lifetime of vibrant health, energy and vitality through ongoing Chiropractic care.

Why do I need x-rays?
The x-rays help us to locate the structural misalignment of the spine. They also let us know if a patient needs to be referred out for medical attention. Here’s our best response: Would you let your dentist keep drilling each tooth until they found the right cavity?
Why is the atlas the most important vertebra?
The atlas is the 1st cervical vertebra located below the brain stem where all the messages sent from the brain exit to the body to every single cell in your body. The brain is the light and the atlas is the dimmer switch. Do you know what happens when a dimmer switch is low, the brightness of the light decreases. When the atlas is out of position the messages from the brain are not transmitted properly to every cell in your body. When the atlas is in its proper position then the light is turned on and the brain is able to transmit all the messages it needs properly to every single cell and thereby allowing a more optimum experience of health.
Do the adjustments hurt?
Some adjustments can be uncomfortable but I use a variety of techniques that are designed to relax the muscles, which results in minimal discomfort after having the adjustment. The adjustment is quick, powerful and effective.
